How to Enter a Deposit for a Single Raffle in CG Made Easy
In this video, we will guide you through the process of entering a deposit for a single raffle event in CG Made Easy. Single raffle events often have multiple deposits, and depositing the money is the best option for keeping your raffle income safe.
Steps to Record Deposits
Go to Banking and select Gaming Deposits.
Ensure that the premise is correct.
Change the Game Type to Raffle.
If you have already entered your raffle tickets, your Gun Raffle Inventory will be displayed to apply toward the deposit.
Entering the First Deposit
Enter the amount for the deposit in the top left corner. This amount should match the Bank Statement and Deposit Slip.
Select the date of the deposit.
Choose the raffle session date when the raffle will be played. CG Made Easy will default the session date to match your deposit date.
Ensure that the raffle drawing date is correct. For example, this raffle drawing will be held on September 30th.
Enter the deposit amount, such as $500, in the top left box and in the applied box next to the serial number.
Once the unapplied balance is 0 and the session date is correct, click Save.
Entering a Second Deposit
Start over by going to Banking and selecting Gaming Deposit.
Choose Game Type Raffle again.
Enter the second deposit amount, such as $1,000, and the date it was given, for example, September 4th.
Check the box to show raffle sessions that already have deposits associated.
Enter the deposit next to the Gun Raffle and click Save.
Verifying Deposits
To verify your deposits for the Gun Raffle:
Type the raffle name into the serial search.
Check the status at the top of the screen. It should show as Deposited, indicating that at least one deposit has been entered.
In Cash in Hand, you can see the total amount entered for deposits, such as $500 and $1,000.
Click on the red numbers to view details of the deposits, such as the dates they were entered.
This method is an excellent way to track the deposits you have entered for your raffle.
