How to Apply a Deposit Towards a Multi-Session Raffle

Step 1: Review the Raffle Invoice

  • Navigate to Inventory and select Gaming Inventory.

  • Search for the raffle and click on the red invoice number to view the invoice details.

  • Note that 1200 tickets have been printed at $2 each, totaling an ideal gross of $2400.

  • The tickets are divided among 10 raffles, with 120 tickets per raffle.

  • If all 120 tickets are sold in a raffle session, the deposit would be $240.

Step 2: Enter the Deposit

  • Go to Banking and select Gaming Deposits.

  • Build your deposit entry with the following details:

    • Deposit amount: $240

    • Deposit date: September 6th

    • Event: Meet Raffle at Back to the Future

    • Game type: Raffle

  • Change the system default from Single Raffle to Multi-Raffle to reflect the multi-raffle invoice information.

  • Ensure the deposit date and raffle session date are correct. Adjust if necessary to match the Thursday night raffle.

Step 3: Apply the Deposit

  • Select Multi-Raffle to view all 10 raffles, each with 120 tickets.

  • Apply the $240 deposit to the first raffle out of 10.

  • Ensure the unapplied balance is zero.

  • Click Save to successfully record the multi-raffle deposit in your bank register.
